More than five thousand people joint the event to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of New Mon State Party.

Last Tuesday, 23 Dec. 2008, New Mon State Party observed a celebration to commemorate the Golden Jubilee in Weazin Base near Ye Town, southern Mon State. More than five thousand people from variation area from different political and humanitarian organizations gathered into the event.

There was awarded different medal to the soldiers and party's members who had distinguished himself or herself by exceptionally meritorious service to the party or Mon in a duty of great responsibility.
